About Us
The Transmission Directorate, under the leadership of a Deputy Managing Director, is responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of Nepal’s highvoltage transmission infrastructure ranging from 66 kV to 400 kV. Its primary role is to connect power generation sources to distribution networks, ensuring a reliable and efficient supply of electricity. This includes the planning and construction of new transmission lines and substations, as well as the upgrading of existing infrastructure to meet the growing energy demand.fices in Khimti and Kohalpur.
